Byrider is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead our Saginaw service department. Bring your automotive experience and leadership skills to a role where you can develop technicians, improve shop performance, and deliver service customers can trust.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily service department operations, keeping work organized and repairs moving efficiently.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop technicians and service team members.
• Set clear expectations for productivity, repair quality, and customer service.
• Manage shop workflow, repair priorities, and turnaround times.
• Monitor repair quality and help resolve service concerns promptly.
• Maintain parts inventory, shop supplies, and equipment readiness.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
• Communicate repair progress and delays clearly to customers and internal teams.
• Partner with other departments to support vehicle readiness and dealership goals.

What We’re Looking For

• Automotive service management experience and the ability to lead a productive team.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, and follow-through.
• A customer-focused approach and clear communication skills.
• Confidence coaching employees, managing workflow, and holding the team accountable.
• Good computer skills and comfort learning service management systems.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Relevant backgrounds may include: Automotive Service Manager, Automotive Store Manager, Independent Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, Lead Service Advisor/Writer, Shop Foreman, or Lead Automotive Technician with leadership experience.
