Unit Description:
6A is a 23 bed post interventional telemetry unit. The unit primarily serves patients who have undergone cardiac catherization procedures including interventional procedures and electrophysiology. Staff receive specialized training for post catherization, femeral sheaths and Tikosyn.
Shift: PRN, Second Shift
Job Description:
Performs a variety of clerical duties relating to the updating and organizing of information on the nursing units; prepares and compiles records in nursing unit; coordinates work within the unit as well as with other units and departments; reporting pertinent information to the department director, unit coordinator, or charge nurse. Responds to inquiries and requests from staff personnel, etc.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:
High School diploma or equivalent
Possess basic knowledge of medical terminology
