Part Time Nanny – Pleasanton, CA
A welcoming, multilingual family in Pleasanton, CA 94566 is seeking an experienced, nurturing part-time nanny to primarily care for their newborn arriving at the end of November and occasionally their 4-year-old child.
Schedule:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Monday through Friday
- Approximately 20 hours per week (4 hours per day)
- Schedule flexibility between 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Family Specifications:
- Smoke-free home
- Pet-free household
- Multilingual home environment (family speaks Chinese)
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for a newborn infant
- Occasional care for 4 year if they are not in school
- Prepare bottles/formula and assist with bottle feedings, including washing and sanitizing feeding supplies
- Support infant and preschooler personal care routines, including diaper changes, potty training, dressing, and bathing as needed
- Maintain soothing, age-appropriate nap and awake-time routines
- Complete light infant- and child-related housekeeping, including tidying and children’s laundry
Requirements:
- Prior professional experience caring for newborns/infants
- Reliable personal vehicle for commuting to and from the home
- Preferred: Infant and Child CPR & First-Aid certified
- Fluency or proficiency in Chinese
Compensation
Compensation:
$29 - $32 per hour
