About Real Estate and Workplace Services
The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) organization designs, operates, and evolves the environments and experiences that enable Salesforce employees and customers to do their best work. Spanning more than 30 countries and customers to do their best work. Spanning more than 30 countries, our Agentic Campus reflects our values and culture – bringing together humans, agents, and robots to create inclusive, purpose-driven spaces where people feel a true sense of belonging.
As customer zero of Salesforce's own technology, REWS is leading the way, creating innovative and dynamic spaces that provide seamless and inspiring workplace experiences.
Overview of the Role
The Real Estate Strategy and Planning team shapes how Salesforce's global office portfolio evolves: where we grow, where we consolidate, and how our footprint supports the business. As Senior Analyst, you will be the team's analytical engine. You'll turn portfolio, workforce, occupancy and market data into insights that drive metro and country portfolio strategies.
Using AI tools and modern analytics platforms, you'll build dashboards, scenarios and interactive materials that help leaders make faster, better-informed real estate decisions. You'll partner closely with Strategic Finance, Transactions, Business Partners and other REWS teams.
Core Responsibilities & Scope
Data analysis: Analyze portfolio, lease, headcount, hiring forecast, occupancy and utilization data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Metro strategy: Build the fact base for key metros (footprint, demand forecasts, utilization, lease expirations and market conditions) and help develop options to consolidate, expand, relocate or hold.
Country portfolio strategy: Support country-level strategies with footprint benchmarks, cost and occupancy profiles, and long-range planning inputs.
Supply and demand planning: Model real estate supply vs. demand, track critical dates and space requirements, and flag gaps or surplus early.
Scenario analysis: Build and run portfolio scenarios, and provide data inputs to Strategic Finance for financial modeling and to Transactions for deal planning.
Dashboards and metrics: Build and maintain dashboards and interactive tools covering portfolio KPIs (cost per seat, cost per sq ft, utilization, occupancy), making sure metrics fit the reporting objective.
AI-enabled analysis: Use AI tools and platforms to automate data analysis, surface occupancy and utilization trends faster, and speed up scenario and presentation work.
Market intelligence: Use third-party real estate and occupancy data platforms to gather market, benchmark and competitive insights.
Presentation materials: Turn analysis into clear, exec-ready decks, summaries and interactive materials, and support project approval requests with proper documentation.
Ad-hoc decision support: Respond quickly and accurately to analysis requests from leadership and partners.
