About the job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres.
It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
The Head of Pixel Product Operations (Buds) will be responsible for the development and launch of Pixel Buds through the New Product Introduction (NPI) process through Ok2Ship, across the portfolio of Pixel Buds. You will be responsible for identifying and evolving best practices, and sustaining an organization that has scaled with execution.
You will lead a global team of various manufacturing teams - Operations Program Managers, System Technical Program Managers, Mechanical Technical Program Managers and Supply Chain Program Managers directly. As the Primary Manager from the Global Operations and Supply Chain organization responsible for the launch of the Pixel Buds programs, several other cross-functional teams rely on your leadership to guide the programs and products to success.
You will need to balance engineering, operations, and quality processes and take into account the competitive dynamics to surpass the rate of innovation in the consumer electronics industry. This will encompass supporting large volume products and first generation products within the Pixel portfolio.
