PRN Requirements:

• Required to work as needed by the department with a minimum of one 12-hour shift per week (6:15a-6:45p)
• Required to work 3 Holidays a year
• Required to work a minimum of 1 FULL weekend a month
• Must be able to commit to two consecutive weeks of training (3 full shifts per week = 6 shifts total )

Food & Nutrition Services offers nourishing meals to patients, visitors, and Baptist Health Louisville employees.

The department has about 120 employees and operates 24-hours a day/seven days a week. It provides great employment opportunities for growth and development within the department and hospital.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, e.g., menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick up, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must have ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Neat appearance / excellent  hygiene.
• Excellent customer relation skills.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
