Holiday Season Weekend Intern, Garden City Center

About the Role

We’re looking for a friendly, organized holiday intern to run weekend reservations for the Santa photo experience. We want every visit to run smoothly from start to finish. Our Santa photo experience is a highlight of the season. Families visit our newly redesigned Santa Cabin to meet Santa and take holiday photos together. Running from 11/20/26 to 12/24/26, it’s a chance for guests to make memories, and we want every visit to feel warm, welcoming, and magical.

Responsibilities

• Operate the computer: manage the booking schedule and keep it up to date
• Respond to client emails about cancellations and make any needed booking changes
• Keep accurate records of bookings, changes, and cancellations
• Communicate schedule updates to the team
• Report any issues or guest concerns to the manager
• Must be available Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00am–6:00pm, for the following 5 weekends (11/21-11/22, 11/28-11/29, 12/5-12/6, 12/12-12/13 and 12/19-12/20)

The role is a total of 10 days and approximately 80 hours total

Pay: $16/hr on Saturdays; $24/hr on Sundays (time and a half)

Requirements

• Comfortable with computers and quick to learn new software (“Session” is the scheduling software used)
• Reliable and punctual, and able to work the full weekend schedule; Must be available for all dates notes above for the full 8-hour shift
• Attention to detail with orders and rescheduling
• Customer service or retail experience is a plus
• Must be 16 or older
