In-Home Children's Caregiver

Forward Family Care, LLC provides personalized in-home care and mentoring for youth and adults with disabilities, with a focus on safety, independence, and overall well-being. As an In-Home Children's Caregiver, you will play an important role in helping children receive consistent, thoughtful care in their daily environment. This role is ideal for someone who brings empathy, sound judgment, and a steady presence to their work, and who is motivated by making a meaningful difference for children and the families who support them.

Responsibilities

• Support children with disabilities using compassionate, person-centered caregiving techniques.
• Provide attentive childcare support for school-aged children.
• Assist with personal care needs while maintaining dignity and comfort.
• Offer companionship and positive day-to-day support.

Requirements

• Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with childcare, including supporting school-aged children.
• Hands-on experience providing personal care and companionship.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing mentoring.
• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• CPR certification.
• First aid certification.
