Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs and engineering drawings for stainless steel components using CAD software.
• Collaborate with project managers, fabricators, and other engineers to ensure design feasibility and optimal performance.
• Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve product functionality and manufacturability.
• Analyze client requirements and specifications to develop tailored engineering solutions.
• Perform calculations and simulations to validate design integrity and compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare documentation including technical reports, bills of materials, and assembly instructions.
• Support the manufacturing team during the fabrication process by resolving design-related issues and providing technical guidance.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Design Engineer, preferably in stainless steel fabrication or related industries.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and material properties of stainless steel.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Good communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and with clients.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work within project deadlines.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to stainless steel design is a plus.
