Compensation
Salary:
up to $35 an hour
Shift:
- 1st Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM
- 3rd Shift: 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM
Equipment:
KBA Rapida 106 sheetfed offset presses, including six and eight color configurations
Shift Differentials:
- 12% for second shift and 15% for third shift
- Job Description: Maintain accurate production records, quality documentation, and downtime reports
- Monitor pressroom materials, inks, coatings, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with safety and production standards
- Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial sheetfed offset printing experience
- Experience leading or supervising pressroom employees
- Strong understanding of four color process printing, PMS color matching, coatings, and print registration
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to interpret job tickets, production layouts, and customer specifications
- Experience with Komori, Heidelberg, RMGT, KBA, or similar sheetfed presses
- Ability to work efficiently in a production environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with KBA Rapida sheetfed presses
- Experience with UV printing, aqueous coatings, and specialty substrates
- Technical training in printing technology or graphic communications
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 50 lbs or more
- Ability to work safely around industrial printing equipment
