Role and Responsibilities
Role Overview
The Sr. Manager, Digital is a marketing-led digital role responsible for the brand, content, and performance expression of Samsung's Home Entertainment (HE) business on samsung.com. This person sits alongside the eCommerce team as a strategic partner, owning the marketing, content, SEO/GEO, customer journey, and performance-reporting layers that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across TV, Audio, Monitor, and Memory categories.
The Sr. Manager will lead day-to-day execution across marketing landing pages, seasonal and product launches and full-funnel digital performance reporting and forecasting.
The ideal candidate combines big-picture content and channel strategy with sharp attention to execution detail and a strong quantitative/analytical foundation. They are equally comfortable influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority, directing agency partners toward measurable outcomes, building and interpreting performance dashboards, and rolling up their sleeves to get work done in a fast-moving, highly matrixed environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Site Ownership
Own HE marketing landing pages end-to-end: adapting and localizing creative direction provided for the region, managing content updates, bug logging, and performance reporting with a focus on engagement and consumer journey progression.
Ensure all site merchandising is aligned to global direction and on-brand, employs regional digital best practices, and has clearly defined KPIs including continuation rate, engagement rate, and page-to-PDP progression.
Lead regional localization and adaptation of global direction across HE teams, producing fit-for-purpose, consumer-centric copy and content that drives traffic, supports conversion, and reflects the appropriate stage of the consumer journey.
Understand key product features, reasons to buy, and model differentiation across HE categories to ensure content accuracy and competitive relevance.
Collaborate with the SEO and GEO lead on content roadmap across all Home Entertainment categories, balancing short-term execution with long-term organic visibility.
Digital Marketing Reporting, Analytics & Forecasting
Lead full-funnel channel marketing reporting for all HE categories, building weekly, monthly, and quarterly views of digital marketing performance against financial forecasts, and reporting on achievement rate.
Develop and execute a comprehensive web analytics data strategy to track collective channel performance for s.com, in deep partnership with the HE Digital s.com Marketing team on site content strategy and information architecture.
Report on quantitative data and qualitative analysis of website content and experience KPIs (e.g., continuation rate, conversion rate, engagement rate) within core analytics products and tools.
Lead, collaborate, and participate in highly functional, agile cross-functional analytics and data teams; develop analytics project plans and manage stakeholder participation and contributions.
Brand & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Define asset requirements, communicate channel and format needs, and ensure all creative inputs meet fit-for-platform standards for samsung.com.
Partner closely with the eCommerce team (not reporting into it) to align on UX best practices, landing page experience, and category performance.
Collaborate with Category Managers and internal stakeholders to plan and execute major seasonal and product launch campaigns, ensuring clear briefs, prompt communication, and on-time delivery.
Understand the competitive retail landscape; proactively seek market knowledge and share competitive insights and category trends with cross-functional partners.
Team Leadership
Directly manage and develop a team of digital contractors/analysts, providing clear direction, quality review, and ongoing coaching.
Model strong project management discipline: prioritizing across competing deadlines, identifying process efficiencies, and clearly communicating status back to key stakeholders.
Required Skills
Content strategy and digital marketing expertise, with a demonstrated ability to connect brand storytelling to measurable business outcomes on an owned digital channel.
Deep SEO knowledge and a working understanding of the GEO/AI search landscape, including how LLMs surface and prioritize content and how to structure content to perform in that environment.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and quantitative problem-solving skills; ability to build and interpret performance data across platforms and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Agency management experience: skilled at writing briefs, managing SOWs, evaluating creative and content outputs, and holding external partners to quality and delivery standards.
Cross-functional influence: proven ability to drive alignment and outcomes across teams without direct authority, navigating matrixed organizational structures with confidence.
Proficiency with CMS platforms, Jira/Confluence, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office, with strong Excel/data skills for reporting, analysis, and presentation-building (PowerPoint).
High attention to detail combined with the ability to hold a strategic, big-picture view; a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
8-10 years of experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or analytics, preferably at a consumer electronics, retail, or DTC brand with significant owned-channel presence.
Demonstrated experience managing SEO strategy and agency partnerships, with measurable results in organic traffic, rankings, or content visibility.
Hands-on experience with web/digital analytics reporting, forecasting, and dashboarding; deep experience with Tableau/Power BI, Adobe Analytics, Tealium, or similar platforms.
Track record of managing cross-functional launch campaigns with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Experience managing and developing junior team members or contractors.
Familiarity with UX principles and how content and merchandising decisions affect customer journey, conversion, and experience; experience with web content management systems.
Preferred
Background in consumer electronics, CE retail, or a category with complex, spec-driven product content.
Experience working alongside (rather than within) an eCommerce team in a matrixed brand organization.
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Target.
Familiarity with brand governance and the asset briefing/approval process for a large global brand.
Experience with or exposure to GEO/AI search optimization.
