Work Flexibility: Onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday (in Sun/out Mon) 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, $33.25/hr + $1.50/hr shift premium
What You Will Do:
- Set up and perform frequent to regular tasks using standard procedures and various conventional and/or manual machine tools.
- Work from engineering drawings and/or specifications.
- Comply with and maintain documentation and records.
- Determine tool offsets and load tooling into machinery at correct settings.
- Use precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet engineering specifications.
- Assist maintenance personnel with routine maintenance.
- Train and develop others within the role.
- Collaborate with peers, functional departments, and visitors of Stryker.
What You Need:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years related Machining experience required.
Ability to set up and operate complex equipment while multitasking to meet production goals and quality standards.
Use precision measuring equipment and GD&T principles to verify components meet engineering specifications and troubleshoot quality or inspection issues.
Maintain strong attention to detail and perform physical requirements, including lifting or exerting force up to 50 pounds .
Preferred:
Experience with DMG Mori NTX/NZX machines.
Successful completion of an accredited apprenticeship program.
Successful completion of an accredited Machinist / Machine Tool Technology certificate program.
$33.25/hr. + $1.50/hr. Shift Premium plus bonus eligible and benefits.
