Employer Job Description
From Dutch Bros. Coffee's posting. “We” and “our” refer to the employer.
It's fun to work in a company where people truly believe in what they are doing. At Dutch Bros Coffee, we are more than just a coffee company. We are a fun-loving, mind-blowing company that makes a difference one cup at a time.
Position Overview:
Dutch Bros is on a mission to make a massive difference one cup at a time. We're a high-growth, people-first company that values "love, acceptance, and kindness". Behind every cup we serve is a connected workplace - the tools, workflows, and AI capabilities that keep our shop crews, regional leaders, and corporate teams moving together. We’re seeking a Product Manager, Digital Workplace to join the Technology team at Dutch Bros.
This role owns the digital employee experience end to end - the collaboration, communication, content, and workflow automation tools our people use every day - and it is deliberately hands-on. Microsoft 365 is the anchor of that portfolio (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Viva, and the Power Platform), alongside the AI capabilities we deliver through Microsoft 365 Copilot and agentic solutions. In this role you won’t just manage a tech stack; you will be in it.
You will study how work actually gets done across corporate, regional, and shop teams, find where time is lost to manual and duplicated effort, and then build the fix yourself - configuring the tenant, standing up Teams and SharePoint solutions, and shipping Power Platform flows, apps, and Copilot agents. You will take Copilot and agentic AI programs from prototype to enterprise scale, defining success measures and reporting business value in hours returned and cost avoided. Adoption is the product.
You will build enablement at scale through a digital workplace Champions network, interactive workshops, and self-service resources you author yourself, and partner closely with Information Security, Infrastructure, Data, People, and Communications to ensure workplace and AI tools adhere to data governance, licensing, compliance, and cybersecurity standards. This is a builder’s product role.
It requires strong product ownership, hands-on depth in modern workplace and collaboration technology, a willingness to work directly in admin centers and low-code tools, and the ability to translate technical capability into simple, inspiring, and actionable language for non-technical teams.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years in technical product management, digital workplace engineering or administration, or enterprise collaboration consulting and solution architecture roles.
Deep hands-on expertise administering enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms, with primary depth in Microsoft 365 - Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Viva, and the Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Entra admin centers.
Demonstrated experience personally deploying Microsoft 365 Copilot or comparable enterprise AI capabilities, including use case discovery, tenant and licensing configuration, pilot design, prompt and agent development, and measurement of business value.
Hands-on experience building and shipping automated and agentic workflows on low-code platforms such as the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio), including integrations with adjacent HR, ITSM, and line-of-business systems.
Working proficiency with scripting and administration at scale - PowerShell, Microsoft Graph and the Graph API, and PnP tooling - to configure tenants, bulk-provision workspaces, and extract usage data.
Comfort with hands-on troubleshooting: partnering with the service desk and endpoint teams on Intune-managed devices, escalations, and Microsoft support cases, and turning recurring issues into permanent fixes.
Proven product management fundamentals: translating business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and a well-prioritized backlog using Agile methodologies.
Experience using user research, journey mapping, and business process discovery to locate friction in how employees work and to build a prioritized digital workplace backlog from it.
Track record of driving measurable adoption through organizational change management, champion networks, enablement programs, workshops, and self-service content.
Experience partnering with Information Security and Infrastructure teams on identity, data governance, information protection, licensing, and compliance for collaboration and AI tools.
Ability to define and report KPIs and OKRs, and to build the reporting yourself from Microsoft 365 usage telemetry, Microsoft Graph data, and Power BI to prioritize the roadmap and demonstrate return on investment.
Experience influencing senior stakeholders and executives, with comfort presenting to large audiences through training, webinars, and enterprise communications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into simple, actionable language for non-technical teams.
Preferred: Microsoft certifications (such as Microsoft 365 Certified, Teams Administrator, or Service Adoption Specialist) and experience supporting a distributed, multi-site retail or restaurant workforce.
Location Requirement:
This role is located in Tempe, Arizona. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs); Fridays are optional remote work days.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Own the vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog for the digital workplace portfolio. Translate business needs into user stories and functional requirements, and sequence delivery using Agile practices aligned to company priorities - staying close enough to the build to make design calls yourself.
AI & Agentic Innovation
Own the roadmap for AI assistants and agentic automation in the workplace, anchored on Microsoft 365 Copilot. Identify high-impact use cases across corporate, regional, and shop teams, then build and ship the solutions - configuring Copilot, developing agents in Copilot Studio, and taking them from prototype through pilot to enterprise scale.
Adoption, Enablement & Evangelism
Act as the face of digital workplace technology across the enterprise. Build and scale a Champions network, personally host interactive workshops and office hours, and author the continuous enablement and self-service resources that turn manual, everyday tasks into seamless digital workflows.
Hands-On Solution Build & Automation
Partner with internal business lines to map how work gets done today, then configure and build the solution yourself in Teams, SharePoint, Viva, and the Power Platform - reducing shadow IT, consolidating redundant tools, and lowering the total cost of the digital workplace portfolio.
Platform Administration & Service Health
Own the day-to-day configuration and health of the digital workplace tenant: provisioning and lifecycle settings, policy and feature rollout, Microsoft release and roadmap management, and escalation support alongside the service desk, endpoint, and vendor teams to keep the environment stable and current.
Governance, Security & Compliance
Work closely with Information Security, Infrastructure, and Legal to ensure workplace and AI tools adhere to data governance, information protection, licensing, and compliance standards; define provisioning, lifecycle, and acceptable-use policies, and configure the controls that enforce them.
Value Measurement & Reporting
Define and track KPIs and OKRs for adoption, productivity, and cost. Build the reporting yourself from usage telemetry and user feedback to prioritize the roadmap, reduce low-value support demand, and report measurable business value to leadership.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Provide product leadership, coaching, and hands-on technical guidance to product owners, analysts, engineers, and vendor partners; prototype solutions to de-risk decisions, lead design reviews, and influence long-term digital workplace strategy
