The Role

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.

As a Fullmind School Counselor, you will:

• Deliver virtual school counselor services that support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional growth
• Complete evaluations, assessments, and reports
• Create and carry out intervention plans and recommendations
• Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals with the rigor districts require when required
• Partner with families, school-based staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators to keep everyone aligned on student progress

Promptly notify campus and district contacts when a student misses a session, and immediately notify them of threats or safety concerns.

Requirements

• Must have an active Arizona School Counselor certificate.
• Must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions on any license held
• Experience with virtual platforms for assessment and virtual delivery in a school/IEP context
• Reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, private/distraction-free workspace.
• Comfort collaborating remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
