Part Time In-Home Caregiver – San Jose, CA
A welcoming family in San Jose, CA 95125 is seeking a compassionate, kind, friendly, and patient caregiver to provide companionship and light assistance for their mother. The ideal candidate enjoys conversation, is a good listener, and brings a calm, relaxed presence.
Schedule:
Tuesday & Friday 1:30-3:30pm
Potential for additional hours as the relationship develops
Family Specifications:
Smoke-free home
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and build a friendly, trusting relationship with Mom
- Accompany her on walks
- Assist with basic household tasks and light housekeeping
- Help with grocery shopping and errands
Requirements:
- English speaking. Must be able to communicate clearly in English
- Calm, patient, and relaxed personality
- Attentive listener who is comfortable speaking clearly and slowly and moving at Mom’s pace
Compensation
Compensation:
$35-$40 per hour per hour ( commensurate with experience
)
Mileage reimbursement when using your own vehicle for errands
