Production Scheduler

Responsibilities:

• Schedule Planning: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on sales orders, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
• Coordination: Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure resources and materials are available as needed.
• Monitoring: Track production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to address delays, equipment failures, or changes in demand.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Customer Service Support: address any material shortages or delays and adjust plans to meet production requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production orders and prepare reports as required.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in production scheduling and inventory management to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in production scheduling or a similar role is advantageous.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and ERP systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
