We are looking to hire an operator for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Walton, KY. A Plant Operator has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

What will your job involve?: Lifting 55lbs bins
- and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
- Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers
- Load/operate our autoclave machine
- (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
- Load the Washsmart system
- (container washing + sanitization system)
- Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers
- Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
Working well with a team!
What are we looking for?: Previous experience in a warehouse
- labor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!)
- Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening
- Willingness to take a 7 year background check
- Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
- Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
- Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
- Proven longevity with employers
- Can-do attitude!!
