Nice to meet you!
Pepper is an innovative, fast-growing DTC intimate apparel brand designed to celebrate small-chested women. Our iconic solution-driven undergarments, swimwear, clothing are thoughtfully designed to make every moment and outfit a confident and authentic expression of your best self. Pepper has been obsessed with uncompromising fit for small chests since our 470% funded Kickstarter launch 2017, and has since grown into a global community of millions of women united by a mission of inspiring women to feel perfectly enough as they are.
We’re reshaping the conversation around fit, style, and confidence for small-chested bodies everywhere.
What we’re proud of:
Remote-first, flexible, and human: We’re a fully remote-first team that values ownership, balance, and trust. Pepper is built for people who want to do their best work from wherever they thrive. Without sacrificing connection, collaboration, or career growth.
Women-founded & Self-funded: As a women-owned company that never took traditional VC funding, we’ve scaled to eight-figure revenue through focus, profitability, and scrappiness. People come here to help rewrite what success looks like in DTC, and to build alongside a team that loves breaking the “rules” of how startups should grow.
Mission-driven with real impact. Everything we do is rooted in empowering small-chested people to feel confident and celebrated. Our mission shapes our products, our culture, and our decisions, from inclusive design to responsible manufacturing and community giving. Joining Pepper means using your work to make the world a little more comfortable, confident, and kind.
This is where you come in.
Pepper is looking for a sharp, strategic Sr. Manager of Influencer & Affiliate Marketing to build creator and affiliate partnerships that grow our community and drive measurable performance across channels.
Reporting to the VP of Brand, this is a highly collaborative, strategic individual contributor role for someone who loves building meaningful creator partnerships, turning insights into action, and developing programs that drive both brand and business impact. Our focus is on building a performance-driven creator ecosystem that expands Pepper’s reach, produces compelling content, and turns creators into long-term brand advocates.
You’ll lead Pepper’s creator partnerships program across paid influencer, UGC, affiliate, gifting, and ambassador. Owning the program end-to-end, you’ll identify talent, negotiate partnerships, guide content, analyze performance, and build the processes needed to scale. As the sole owner of the channel, you’ll also set its direction: reading the data and the market, deciding when to test, scale, or cut, and moving budget to match.
Responsibilities
- 1. Influencer & UGC Campaign Management (30%)
- Lead the end-to-end execution of paid influencer and UGC campaigns, including sourcing, vetting, outreach, negotiation, contracting, onboarding, briefing, content review, posting, and reporting.
- Develop campaign briefs and guide creators through content development, feedback, and revisions to ensure assets meet both brand and paid media needs.
- Build the creator mix across platforms, content styles and audience segments, with a testing roadmap and investment plan to match. It will be critical to understand brand alignment, product fit, and creative standards.
- Negotiate usage and whitelisting rights so top-performing creator content can run in paid media.
- Track shifts in the creator economy, social platforms, and competitive landscape, and turn them into tests before they become table stakes.
- 2. Affiliate, Gifting & Social Commerce (25%)
- Develop and scale Pepper’s affiliate program across platforms such as ShopMy, TikTok Shop, and other emerging channels.
- Build an always-on gifting program that strengthens creator relationships and expands brand awareness.
- Establish the program structure, incentives, communication cadence, and performance benchmarks needed to grow affiliate revenue efficiently.
- Use affiliate and gifting programs to diversify Pepper’s creator investments, lower blended CACs, and support broader brand initiatives.
- Evaluate new social commerce platforms as the creator landscape evolves.
- Support corporate affiliate management, collaborating closely with our SVP of performance.
- 3. Ambassador & Community (15%)
- Reinvent Pepper’s ambassador program to turn our most loyal customers into a source of referrals, content and new customers
- Set the program’s goals, incentives and communication formats, and build a direct line between our community and the Pepper team
- 4. Creator Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%)
- Oversee campaign operations, ensuring programs are executed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule
- Build scalable processes, workflows, templates, and tools that enable the creator program to grow efficiently
- Partner closely with Brand, Growth, Creative, Organic Social, Product, and Operations to align creator initiatives with launches, campaigns, and business priorities
- 5. Performance, Insights & Optimization (20%)
- Drive new-customer acquisition as the program’s primary goal, supported by awareness, reach, share of voice, engagement and site traffic
- Own weekly, monthly, and campaign-level performance reporting across paid influencer, UGC, affiliate, gifting, and ambassador programs
- Translate performance data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for executive and cross-functional teams
- Run an always-on testing roadmap across creators, platforms, formats, and offers, and decide what to scale, iterate, or stop
- Own the monthly and annual budget and move it across paid influencer, UGC, affiliate, gifting, and ambassador as performance shifts, measured against new-customer, CAC, and ROAS goals
- Bring the VP of Brand clear recommendations when a bigger change in direction is warranted or opportunities to scale with the data and reasoning behind it
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of experience in influencer, creator and affiliate marketing at a DTC, fashion, beauty, wellness or lifestyle brand, or at an agency serving them.
- A proven track record of owning creator programs end-to-end, from sourcing and negotiation to briefing, content review and reporting. Show us the partnerships you're proudest of and the ones that performed best.
- Hands-on experience building or scaling an affiliate program. Familiarity with platforms like ShopMy, TikTok Shop, LTK or Impact is essential.
- Experience running an ambassador, referral or community program is a plus.
- A performance-first mindset. You're fluent in CAC, ROAS, CVR and blended efficiency, you know how creator content feeds paid media, and you make budget decisions with data, not gut feel alone.
- Sound judgment in ambiguity. You know when a test has earned more budget, when a program needs a new direction and when to hold steady, and you can make the case for each.
- A sharp eye for talent and content. You can spot a creator who fits our brand, our product and our audience, and you know what makes a hook land on each platform.
- A strong negotiator and relationship builder who turns one-off posts into long-term partnerships and creators into true brand advocates.
- Skilled at writing clear, inspiring creative briefs and giving feedback that improves content without flattening the creator's voice.
- Fluent in today's creator economy and social commerce landscape, and curious about where it's headed next.
- Highly organized and process-minded. You build the trackers, templates and workflows that let a program scale without losing quality.
- A clear communicator who can turn performance data into insights and recommendations for executive and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborative, low ego and excited to roll up your sleeves wherever needed.
- Passionate about building brands that customers genuinely love, and motivated by seeing that love translate into meaningful business results.
- Pepper values.
- Curiosity: We’re relentless in our quest to understand the community we serve. We’re challengers who ask questions, pursue perspectives, and set the new standard.
- Resilience: We embrace the ups and the downs, learn from our mistakes, and courageously persevere to achieve our goals.
- Community: We champion each other the same way we champion our customers. We do big things together and are passionate about what we do, and
