Marketing Production Artist I based in our Irvine, CA location. The Marketing Production Artist reports to the Marketing Graphic Design Supervisor and is a technically focused role. Responsibilities will be maintaining the quality, accuracy, and brand consistency of print and digital marketing assets through design revisions, production support, color proofing, press checks, photo editing, file preparation, and versioning of existing creative.

The Marketing team at In-N-Out Burger works on a wide variety of projects for the organization. This position will have an emphasis on offering technical and personal development opportunities; encouraging each team member to continually grow their knowledge and skill set. This position emphasizes technical production expertise and precise execution of established creative concepts rather than original concept development or creative design.

This position is full-time, in-office only.

General Responsibilities

Perform design revisions, updates, and edits to existing creative files while maintaining brand consistency and accuracy.

Create simple design versions and adaptations of existing artwork across various formats, channels, and applications.

Edit, retouch, resize, and optimize photography and digital assets for print, web, social media, and other customer-facing uses.

Prepare, package, export, review, and organize production-ready files according to project requirements and vendor specifications.

Conduct color proofing and participate in print press checks to ensure all printed materials meet quality and production standards.

Collaborate with designers, project managers, vendors, merchandising, digital, and social teams to ensure consistent and accurate execution of marketing materials.

Balance multiple projects simultaneously, proactively identify and resolve issues, and ensure all print and digital assets are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Pay Range is $28.10-$31.00 per hour

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of professional experience in graphic production, production art, or a related creative production role.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.
• Strong technical knowledge of print and digital production processes, file preparation, formatting, and output specifications.
• Experience adapting, resizing, and versioning existing creative assets across multiple formats, platforms, and applications.
• Working knowledge of prepress production, including color profiles, resolution, bleeds, typography, and print-ready file preparation.
• Ability to interpret creative direction and accurately execute established designs while maintaining brand standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, quality control, and consistency.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet competing deadlines.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical production challenges and identify efficient, practical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with designers, project managers, and external production partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Communications, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
• Experience supporting an in-house creative or marketing team within a high-volume production environment.
• Familiarity with commercial printing techniques, substrates, finishing processes, and vendor production requirements.
• Experience producing marketing materials across print, digital, environmental graphics, merchandise, and promotional applications.
• Familiarity with digital asset management systems, file organization standards, and creative production workflows.

• In-N-Out Burger plans to bring its west coast headquarters team back together under one roof by the end of 2029. After maintaining two Southern California office locations for many years, the company will permanently close its Irvine office in 2029 and once again headquarter the company’s western territory solely in Baldwin Park, California, where the company was founded in 1948.
• Newly hired Associates in Irvine will be eligible to participate in the group move to Tennessee with relocation assistance or work from our western headquarters in Baldwin Park, CA, upon its opening in 2029.
