Summary
Job Description:
Administers nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Creates a positive customer service environment.
- Assessment and identification of all patient needs
- Implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service
- Maintains Nursing Care Plan
- Maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care established by the Registered Nurse Assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems
- Delegation of nursing care activities to nurse aides as needed
- Follow physician orders
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required
