About Us: Pro Coffee Gear is a fast-growing ecommerce and wholesale distributor of commercial and home espresso equipment. We serve cafés, roasters, restaurants, and serious home baristas with new and refurbished espresso machines, grinders, and accessories from the most respected brands in coffee.
About the Role
We're looking for a Shipping Lead to own outbound fulfillment at our Austin warehouse. You'll keep orders moving accurately and on time, from pick and pack through carrier handoff, and set the standard for how our equipment is packed and shipped.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership
- Own the daily outbound schedule so orders ship on time
- Manage carrier pickups, and freight bookings
- Set and maintain packing standards for espresso machines and fragile equipment
- Train warehouse teammates on shipping procedures
- Order Fulfillment & Shipping
- Execute daily pick, pack, and ship operations with accuracy and speed to meet delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup scheduling, tracking, and delivery optimization.
- Process orders using warehouse management systems and maintain shipment documentation.
- Inventory Management
- Returns workflow: Manage receiving, put-away, and stock organization of returns to optimize warehouse flow.
- Investigate inventory variances on out of stock orders.
- Assist with inventory projects as needed.
- Quality
- Ensure all outbound shipments meet quality standards and packaging requirements.
- Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies or process bottlenecks.
- Returns & Customer Support
- Process returns, exchanges, and damaged goods according to company policies.
- Coordinate with customer service on order status and shipping inquiries.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years warehouse or fulfillment experience.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and shipping software.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
