Are you looking for an opportunity to flex your technical skills as part of an engineering design team developing digital architectures? The Scientific Analysis Operation is seeking a Systems Engineer to support our government customers’ Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) capabilities. MBSE is a rapidly growing field in the Department of Warfare (DoW) and Intelligence Communities.
As a member of our engineering team, you will work alongside engineers and software developers to develop authoritative engineering models that contribute to our nation’s defense.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, or related technical field
- Experience applying Systems Engineering principles / approaches to complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systems
- Experience developing and managing verification and validation (V&V) plans and procedures
- Ability to support interface management activities, ensuring clear definition, communication, and maintenance of interfaces across engineering teams
- Knowledge of MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect)
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government customers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce and present technical documentation and artifacts
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance
- Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the Systems Engineering domain
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering
- Knowledge of SysML for modeling architectures and system behaviors
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including Java, C++, or Python
- Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems and processes
- Knowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and practices
