Administrative Assistant | Rock Island

IMEG is hiring an Administrative Assistant in Rock Island, IL. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support for assigned engineering teams and completing day-to-day administrative tasks. Additionally, this position will demonstrate proficiency at using and reviewing IMEG standard document templates. This position will be expected to work within the team’s monetary budget as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations.

• Principal Responsibilities
• • Follow and promote IMEG Standards
• • Assist assigned team and other teams as needed
• • Maintain confidentiality of project/client, corporate, and employee matters
• • Work with engineering specifications for all applicable disciplines
• • Attend and actively contribute to group meetings
• • Phone answering as needed
• • Arrange meetings/travel as needed for team/office
• • Handle incoming/outgoing mail and shipping as needed
• Required Skills/Abilities
• • Ability to multi-task
• • Ability to work with staff of all levels
• • Strong communication and organizational skills
• • Proficient in MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
• • Strong customer service orientation coupled with the ability to exhibit and maintain a positive attitude
• • Team player but also able to work on own initiative
• • Self-motivated and flexible
• Education and Experience
• • High School Diploma/GED required
• • Associate Degree preferred
• • No experience required, 1 year experience with engineering administration preferred

• State of Illinois Pay Range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually

The range listed above represents the base pay IMEG reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position in the work location identified above at the time of posting. For positions available in multiple locations, the minimums and maximums may vary based on work location.

Individual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, abilities, and licensure and certifications. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
