VP Marketing - FYC

The VP Marketing is responsible for promoting FYC and its events to students, encouraging participation, and increasing awareness of the committee’s initiatives. They will organize in-person promotional activities, including poster distribution, campus advertising, and tabling, as well as manage incoming social media direct messages.

• 8-10 hours/week (may increase leading up to events)
• Term of Employment
• November 2026 – March 2027
• Main Responsibilities
• Collect and utilize data to maximize social media engagement
• Help develop strategies to attract and engage more students
• Represent FYC through social media to create engagement
• Manage and respond the social media accounts
• Create RSVP forms and prepare presentation slide decks for the CUS

Qualifications

• Experience in data collection
• Experience managing social media
• Ability to plan and execute creative marketing campaigns
• Marketing and promotional strategy
• Anticipated Learning Outcomes
• The VP Marketing will have the opportunity to implement effective marketing techniques to engage the student body using data provided through social media.
