The Role

We are hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help build and accelerate Clark's sales pipeline.

As an early member of our go-to-market team, you'll be responsible for identifying high-potential prospects, initiating conversations with decision-makers, and generating qualified meetings for our Account Executives.

This is a high-ownership, outbound-focused role for someone who is ambitious, persistent, and eager to grow their career in B2B SaaS sales. You'll work closely with our founding sales team, gain direct exposure to leadership, and help shape how Clark approaches prospecting and pipeline generation.

Your success will directly impact Clark's revenue growth, market presence, and ability to scale.

What You'll Do

• Identify, research, and prospect CPA firms and key decision-makers across target accounts
• Generate qualified meetings and product demos for the Account Executive team
• Execute high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
• Develop compelling outreach messaging tailored to audit partners, managing partners, and firm leadership
• Qualify prospects by understanding their current workflows, challenges, and interest in AI solutions
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective customers
• Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure effective handoffs and meeting quality
• Maintain accurate prospect information, outreach activity, and pipeline updates in the CRM
• Track outreach performance, conversion rates, and meetings booked to continuously improve results
• Experiment with new prospecting strategies, messaging, and sales tools to improve engagement
• Help develop and refine Clark's outbound sales processes and playbooks
• Take ownership of individual activity and meeting-generation targets
• Who You Are
• 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or a similar customer-facing role preferred
• Strong interest in B2B SaaS, AI, and technology sales
• Confident communicating with senior executives and business decision-makers
• Comfortable with cold calling, outbound outreach, and handling objections
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated, competitive, and results-driven
• Resilient, persistent, and comfortable hearing "no"
• Organized and disciplined in managing outreach activity and follow-ups
• Coachable, curious, and eager to develop your sales skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
• Willing to take initiative, experiment, and build processes from the ground up
• Bonus: Previous SDR or BDR experience at a B2B SaaS company
• Experience selling into accounting, audit, fintech, compliance, or professional services
• Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, or Outreach
• Experience with cold calling and multichannel outbound prospecting
• Interest in AI-native products and emerging technologies
• Ambition to grow into an Account Executive or broader sales leadership role

Base Salary:

$60,000 annually

Commission:

$500 per qualified demo booked
