- Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month
- Annual Salary Pay: $80K
- Schedule: Mon – Fri 10am – 7pm

Summary
The Transportation Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable execution of shuttle transportation and yard spotting operations supporting manufacturing and distribution facilities. The Manager provides direct operational leadership to the driver workforce, coordinates daily requirements with customer and Ryder warehouse/operations leadership, manages equipment and labor capacity, monitors service performance, and drives continuous improvement.

- State/Local/Federal regulations compliance

- High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
- Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area
- Off shift support in the event of critical customer network disruption or crisis
- Makes decisions in a a timely manner
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
- Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
- One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required. advanced required

Compensation Information :
