The Buffer Prep Operator II performs and trains others on core Buffer Prep operations, supports advanced processes, and leads inventory and continuous improvement activities with increasing independence and ownership.

This position reports to the Buffer Prep Supervisor and is part of Buffer Prep department located in Fargo, ND and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Perform and train on all Buffer Prep Operator I responsibilities while demonstrating increased independence, consistency, and ownership in daily operations. (50%)

Support advanced Buffer Prep processes, including column packing, resin preparation, and ABEC tank operations.

Complete cycle counts and own continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S activities, ergonomic improvements, and other process improvement projects.

The essential requirements of the job include :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to read and write in English and do basic arithmetic.

2 years manufacturing experience

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

Lifting and moving material and equipment of 50 lbs. or less. Working with large barrel dollies as needed and exhibiting safe practices.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Documentation experience in a GDP environment.

Wearing PPE; up to and including hairnet, safety glasses, lab coat, gloves, and boot covers.

1 year in buffer prep manufacturing in a regulated environment preferred.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
