Groundworks is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Permit Administrator to join our Spokane team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our operations by managing permit applications, tracking approvals, coordinating with municipalities, and ensuring permits are properly closed out upon project completion.

Responsibilities

• · Apply for and manage residential and commercial permits
• · Coordinate with local municipalities, inspectors, and permitting agencies
• · Track permit status and ensure timely approvals
• · Schedule inspections and assist with permit close-outs
• · Maintain permit records and project documentation
• · Support branch operations with administrative and clerical tasks
• · Communicate with customers, project managers, and field personnel regarding permit requirements
• · Ensure compliance with local, state, and municipal regulations

Qualifications

• · Previous permitting, construction administration, or municipal experience preferred
• · Strong organizational and time management skills
• · High attention to detail and accuracy
• · Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• · Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• · Excellent communication and customer service skills
• · Experience working with building departments or construction-related permits is highly preferred

The anticipated salary range is the expected hiring range for this role in Washington is $24.17 - $28.43. Final compensation will be based on an evaluation of each candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated capabilities, and work location.
