We are looking for an experienced RAS Architect (Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability) to help shape robust, resilient architectures for AMD products. In this role, you will define and develop system-level RAS capabilities that improve reliability, availability, and serviceability across complex computing systems and scale-out environments. You will collaborate with hardware engineers, system architects, software developers, vendors, and suppliers to identify potential failure modes and develop effective architectural
solutions. Your work will span RAS requirements, reliability analysis, fault detection and recovery, redundancy, diagnostics, system-level validation, and product development from architecture through early customer support.
You approach complex system-level reliability challenges with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively across hardware and software disciplines. You are comfortable evaluating technical trade-offs, identifying potential points of failure, and working across teams to develop solutions that improve system resilience and availability
