The Rehabilitation Program is dedicated to helping patients recover from illness, injury, surgery, or debilitating medical conditions by restoring function, improving mobility, and enhancing overall quality of life. Through a multidisciplinary approach, patients receive individualized care designed to promote independence, maximize physical abilities, and support a safe return to daily activities.
The Registered Nurse provides compassionate, evidence-based nursing care through assessment, treatment, care coordination, patient and family education, and individualized care planning while supporting admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person, and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is an exemplar for compassion, acceptance, respect, and empathy honoring nursing as a distinct discipline and supporting an environment focused on healing and wellness.
As a clinical nurse, this individual spends majority of his/her time (> 50%) coordinating, ensuring and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through: provision of nursing rounds, assessments and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:
Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
Basic life support- Applicants will have 30 days from their hired date to provide completion of this certification if they don’t have it already.
ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of Assignment.
