About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will own a defined US territory across Infosecurity Europe and Big Data LDN, winning new exhibitors and sponsors while growing existing and lapsed accounts. You will manage the full sales cycle, build a qualified pipeline and develop consultative solutions that connect customers’ marketing and business development goals with event opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire US-based exhibitors and sponsors through proactive outbound activity.
• Retain and grow existing accounts, identifying upsell, cross-sell and long-term partnership opportunities.
• Re-engage lapsed customers with relevant propositions that address their needs.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts.
• Achieve revenue targets across new, existing and lapsed accounts.
• Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and proposal development through negotiation and close.
• Engage prospects by phone, email, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other relevant channels.
• Collaborate with UK-based teams, maintain accurate Salesforce records and represent RX at relevant industry events.

Requirements

• Proven B2B sales experience and a record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong business development skills, including proactive outbound prospecting.
• Experience retaining and growing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
• Experience managing the full sales cycle, including negotiation and closing.
• A consultative approach and the ability to turn customer needs into compelling commercial solutions.
• Confidence engaging senior decisionmakers and building long-term relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, organization and time-management skills.
• Salesforce or comparable CRM experience, including pipeline and forecasting management.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $72,200 - $120,200. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
