About the project

We are looking for Journey Consultants to support the development, configuration, and optimization of customer engagement journeys using Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RT-CDP), and journey orchestration technologies.

You will collaborate closely with the Senior Journey Consultant, AEP Architect & Mentor, Campaign Specialists, UDX data operations, and UDX team members transitioning to AEP.

The role combines audience segmentation, personalization, data troubleshooting, and live journey support. You will help translate business and marketing requirements into reliable, data-driven customer experiences while supporting the team's adoption of Adobe technologies.

What you'll do

• Configure, build, and maintain customer segments and audiences using Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real-Time CDP.
• Develop audience qualification logic based on customer profiles, behavioral events, business rules, and marketing requirements.
• Build and maintain personalization rules, dynamic content, and conditional content logic within marketing platforms.
• Support the configuration, execution, and troubleshooting of customer journeys using Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) or comparable journey orchestration technologies.
• Investigate and troubleshoot data flows, audience qualification issues, event processing, and profile data inconsistencies.
• Use SQL or similar query languages to analyze datasets, validate segmentation criteria, and investigate data-related issues.
• Collaborate with data operations teams to identify data quality issues and resolve dependencies affecting campaign or journey execution.
• Support live customer journeys by monitoring execution, investigating issues, and coordinating resolutions with technical and business stakeholders.
• Work with Campaign Specialists to ensure audience definitions, personalization rules, and journey configurations align with campaign requirements.
• Support team members transitioning from legacy marketing platforms to Adobe Experience Platform by sharing knowledge and explaining relevant workflows.
• Document configurations, technical findings, troubleshooting steps, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and US-based stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and reliable handoffs.
• Take part in Nortal's Technical Interviewer Program, conducting technical interviews for your account and other accounts to help build the teams behind Nortal's growth.

What makes you a great fit

Hands-on professional experience working with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Real-Time CDP, including audience and segment creation.

Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) or comparable journey orchestration platforms such as Unica, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Braze, with the ability to transition to AJO.

Practical experience implementing personalization rules, dynamic content, and conditional content logic in marketing platforms.

Strong understanding of customer profiles, event data, audience qualification, and data flows within customer data platforms.

Experience investigating data flow issues, analyzing event and profile data, and troubleshooting audience or journey execution problems.

Working knowledge of SQL or a comparable query language for data analysis and validation.

Ability to translate marketing requirements into audience definitions, personalization logic, and journey configurations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data accuracy and execution quality.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, campaign operations, and data engineering.

Advanced English level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.

Availability to work during US Eastern business hours.

Nice to have:

Adobe Experience Platform or Real-Time CDP certification.

Experience with Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse.

Experience migrating marketing programs or customer journeys from legacy platforms to Adobe Experience Platform.

Familiarity with Workfront or comparable work management tools.

Experience supporting knowledge transfer or onboarding for teams adopting new marketing technologies.

Background in travel, hospitality, theme parks, entertainment, or related industries.
