Essential Duties Responsibilities:

Maintain the accuracy of the inventory management system (MP2).

Issue purchase orders to maintain acceptable inventory of parts.

Review purchase orders to ensure accurate delivery of goods.

Receive and distribute inbound deliveries accordingly.

Maintain spending reports.

Assist in assuring that all items are properly checked out of the stockroom and recorded as necessary.

Serve a point of contact to answer internal customer questions and/or concerns in reference to parts/stockroom.

Prepare and participate in physical inventory.

Upholds quality, safety and cleanliness standards within designated areas.

Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly environment in the stock room.

Order parts from main and alternatives vendors as needed.

Maintain accurate files.

Perform other tasks as assigned.

Support the Maintenance Department by assisting in different areas as required.

Plan and execute projects assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent. 2 year business or similar degree preferred.

2-3 years experience as an inventory parts clerk, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Advanced Computer Skills (i.e. MS Office).

Ability to type at least 50 words per minute.

Excellent organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Attention to detail.

Must have excellent interpersonal skills.

Excellent administrative skills & perception.

For candidates based in California, this position starts at $22.25 up to $26.25.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.
