Director of Sales, Union Labor and Trusts

As a Sales Director for Virta you will be responsible for selling to union, labor, and trust organizations with membership between 1,000-20,000 members. You will have the opportunity to help build our commercialization efforts and capitalize on the national attention Virta is receiving for our industry-changing work.

Responsibilities

• Pick up established prospect funnel and move prospective clients through to contracting phase and close
• Leverage demand generation work from Marketing team to create new opportunities
• Growth - Close new logos and expand existing relationships
• Work with customer success and the health plan team for expansions leading to increased revenue for Virta.
• Leverage and educate ASO partners and consultants for territory pull through
• Further promote Virta as an innovative cardiometabolic reversal solution
• Work closely with Vitra team members to provide client/prospect feedback
• 90 Day Plan
• Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following: Build internal relationships with Virta team members
• Learn the Virta story and begin pitching to prospective clients and consultants
• Begin outreach to prospects currently in the funnel
• Partner with your SDR to create a territory plan
• Create and begin executing business plan for success
• Must-Haves
• 7+ years selling an innovative healthcare solution to union, labor and trust organizations nationally
• Consistent track record of achieving sales targets in this vertical
• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders including union trustees, fund administrators, and consultants
• Ability to represent Virta at union events, trustee summits, and industry events to build brand awareness and pipeline
• Familiarity with union benefit structures, including governance processes
• Quantifiable history of hitting personal sales targets
• Ability to present clearly to key decision makers
• Consultative selling experience from lead gen to contract signature
• Ability to proactively manage pipeline
• Demonstrated collaboration with internal colleagues (marketing, product, ops, etc.) to support sales momentum
• A passion for improving the health of millions of people
• The ability to thrive in a fast-growing startup environment

Virta has a location based compensation structure. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. For this role, the compensation range is $141,000 - $182,000. Information about Virta’s benefits is on our Careers page at: https://www.virtahealth.com/careers.

As part of your duties at Virta, you may come in contact with sensitive patient information that is governed by HIPAA. Throughout your career at Virta, you will be expected to follow Virta's security and privacy procedures to ensure our patients' information remains strictly confidential. Security and privacy training will be provided.

As a remote-first company, our team is spread across various locations with office hubs in Denver and San Francisco.
