Job Summary
The Regional Chief Medical Officer (RCMO) – Kidney Care Centers is a part-time nephrologist role with overall responsibility for the medical component of Ennoble Care's primary care to patients in kidney care centers, across approximately 50 clinics.
The RCMO ensures high‑quality, evidence-based care; owns clinical quality and total cost of care performance; partners closely with regional operational leaders; and maintains accountability for clinical outcomes, quality, compliance, and patient safety. The RCMO provides clinical oversight and performance input for an interdisciplinary team of Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), care coordinators, and other team members delivering primary care at kidney care centers.
The RCMO will also partner closely with our kidney care center partner to ensure alignment on care protocols and take corrective actions on metrics not meeting goals.
This is a part-time role of approximately 2 days per week, designed for a practicing nephrologist. The RCMO does not carry a dedicated patient panel. The role is compatible with continued independent nephrology practice, joint venture participation, and medical director roles, subject to conflict-of-interest disclosure and compliance review. As the kidney care partnership and joint venture footprint grows, this role is expected to expand toward full-time.
Regional Scope
The RCMO will provide medical leadership and oversight across approximately 50 kidney care centers within their designated region. The RCMO will maintain appropriate medical licensure in all states where they conduct patient visits or clinical oversight, specifically in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Florida.
