Walmart is seeking an experienced Senior Manager I, Asset Protection to lead Asset Protection, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and risk management initiatives at our Fulfillment Center in McCordsville, Indiana.

This is an opportunity for a leader who can see beyond individual incidents and metrics, understand the broader risk landscape, and build meaningful partnerships with Operations to drive sustainable results. Success requires sound judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence across multiple areas of the business.

What You’ll Do

• Asset Protection & Risk Management
• Lead Asset Protection, security operations, and complex investigations involving theft, fraud, loss, and other security risks.
• Develop and execute risk management strategies to identify vulnerabilities, mitigate losses, and strengthen operational controls.
• Evaluate security systems, access controls, and investigative processes to protect people and assets.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, law enforcement, and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Environmental Health & Safety
• Lead facility-level EHS initiatives, supporting compliance with OSHA standards and applicable environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Identify safety hazards, assess risks, and implement preventive measures.
• Oversee safety assessments, regulatory inspections, emergency preparedness, and corrective action plans.
• Partner with Operations to build a proactive safety culture and accountability for safe work practices.
• Strategic Leadership & Operational Partnerships
• Build strong relationships with Operations leaders and cross-functional partners.
• Use data, analytics, and root cause analysis to identify trends and make informed decisions.
• Influence facility leaders to implement sustainable safety, security, and operational improvements.
• Align Asset Protection and EHS priorities with business objectives and improve processes to reduce risk.
• People Leadership & Development
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Asset Protection team.
• Set clear expectations and foster trust, collaboration, and accountability.
• Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, and growth opportunities.
• Support training that strengthens safety awareness, compliance, and risk management across the FC.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience leading Asset Protection, security, safety, risk management, or related operations in a fulfillment, distribution, supply chain, or similarly complex environment.
• Strong understanding of investigations, security systems, loss prevention, and risk mitigation.
• Knowledge of EHS principles, OSHA regulations, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to develop teams and build an accountable, positive culture.
• Ability to partner with Operations and influence leaders outside direct reporting lines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience executing strategies that improve safety, reduce risk, and strengthen performance.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and lead continuous improvement.

The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $156,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.

Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management; Industrial Hygiene; Environmental Science, Chemical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 3 years' experience in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.

Option 2: 5 years' experience in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.

3 years' experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies (for example Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), World Class Manufacturing

(WCM) , Lean Six Sigma) within Supply Chain or manufacturing environments.

Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
