From Moloco's posting. “We” and “our” refer to the employer.
Moloco is an AI-native performance advertising company, bringing the power of AI advertising to the open internet. Founded in 2013 by machine learning engineers who had built AI advertising systems inside the world's largest technology companies, Moloco began from a shared mission: to build that same engine for the open internet.
Today, Moloco is one company with two businesses, built on the same compound AI system.
Moloco Ads is our AI-native performance advertising platform, helping mobile app marketers acquire, retain, and re-engage high-value users across the open internet.
Moloco Commerce Media is our AI-native retail media platform, enabling retailers and marketplaces to turn their platforms into thriving ad businesses. Both are powered by
CARA (Compound Ad Recommendation Architecture)
, the AI system behind every Moloco product.
At Moloco, we bring together those who've already solved hard problems and those with the drive to. Here, we work on some of the complex problems in AI advertising, at a scale and level of sophistication very few companies can offer.
Come build what's next.
The impact you’ll contribute to Moloco
As Group Product Manager, IAP Advertising Performance, you will own the product strategy and execution for the systems that help advertisers acquire high-value users and drive in-app purchase outcomes at scale.
You will lead the evolution of the CARA domains that most directly determine IAP performance: Ad Recommendations, Bidding, Signals, and Campaign Automation. These capabilities work as a compound system: signals improve recommendations, recommendations sharpen bid economics, bidding generates richer outcome data, and campaign automation helps advertisers act on those insights.
This is a high-impact role at the center of Moloco Ads’ largest business. You will partner with Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, Product, and Go-to-Market teams to turn advances in models, data, and platform infrastructure into measurable improvements in advertiser outcomes.
The opportunity
Moloco’s CARA AI powering IAP advertising, our largest business, is one of the most technically demanding product areas in performance advertising. Every impression requires real-time decisions about user intent, conversion probability, creative fit, auction economics, budget pacing, and the quality of available signals. Many of the most valuable user, app, and conversion combinations are sparse or have never been observed before.
You will bring product leadership to this system-level challenge. You will define where Moloco should invest, create a durable performance roadmap, and ensure that work across bidding, recommendation, signal engineering, and campaign automation compounds into better results for advertisers.
Build a detailed understanding of IAP performance, the current bidding control tower, and the highest-impact opportunities across Android and iOS.
Establish strong working relationships with Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, UA SDK, and Go-to-Market partners.
Create a shared view of the performance backlog, key metrics, dependencies, and decision forums.
Identify and drive a focused set of near-term improvements while defining the longer-term product strategy.
Make IAP performance improvement a systematic, measurable, and continuously operating product discipline.
Deliver structural gains in advertiser performance through better recommendations, bidding, signal utilization, and campaign automation.
Create a coherent product experience in which advertisers can express their business objectives and Moloco can optimize toward the outcomes that matter most.
Help make every campaign generate better data and every new signal improve the performance of the broader CARA system.
How do I know if the role is right for me?
You have 10+ years of experience, including significant product-management experience in ad tech, machine learning, marketplaces, optimization systems, or another technically complex domain.
You have owned products end to end, from strategy and problem definition through roadmap, execution, launch, and measurable business impact.
You have a track record of turning complex ML, data, or platform capabilities into customer and business outcomes.
You can reason deeply about performance systems, experimentation, metrics, and trade-offs in environments with noisy, incomplete, or probabilistic data.
You are comfortable partnering closely with Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, and infrastructure teams on highly technical products.
You can move between executive-level strategy and implementation-level detail, creating clarity without losing sight of the underlying system.
You have strong product judgment and prioritization skills, with the ability to identify the few investments most likely to create durable performance gains.
You have led cross-functional initiatives that required alignment across multiple teams, competing priorities, and a globally distributed organization.
You communicate clearly and can build conviction with senior leaders, technical partners, and customer-facing teams.
You are energized by ambiguous problem spaces and are comfortable learning quickly, forming hypotheses, and refining strategy through evidence.
You care about customer outcomes and can connect platform and model investments to the workflows, goals, and economics of advertisers.
Nice to have
Experience with mobile advertising, in-app purchase or app-growth economics, gaming, DSPs, ad exchanges, or real-time bidding.
Experience building bidding, recommendation, campaign-automation, identity, signal, measurement, or optimization products.
Experience with predicted lifetime value, event-based optimization, SKAN, value-based bidding, or mobile measurement ecosystems.
Experience leading products that span both platform capabilities and advertiser-facing workflows.
Experience with SDK-based products, publisher integrations, or signal collection and quality systems.
An MBA, degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical or analytical field.
